International Day of Literacy 2016 has observed on 8 September in the Bangladesh as elsewhere around the globe with a pledge to eradicate ignorance from society through enhancing the literacy rate.
DAM has received first prize for its outstanding contribution in drug treatment and rehabilitation. The award has handed over 28 June 2016 at a ceremony held at Osmani Memorial Auditorium
