Capacity Building
CINED is providing technical support to DAM, national and international agencies in developing resources and building capacity of NFE stakeholders through consultancy, training and exchange programmes. Through CINED, DAM provides technical support to UNESCO member countries in the Asia Pacific Region as a member of ARTC (APPEAL Resource and Training consortium) under UNESCO's APPEAL (Asia Pacific Programme of Education for All) programme.
Commonwealth Digital Education Leadership Training in Action (C-DELTA): The second batch of the training workshop of digital education leaders arranged in the auditorium of Dhaka Ahsania Mission. The training workshop was organized for the Government and non-Government college teachers and teachers of the teachers training colleges. 30 college teachers attending the training workshop. C- DELTA is a long-term program of the Commonwealth of Learning (COL) to promote digital leaders at the college and community levels. C-DELTA encourage digital leaders to be Lifelong learners who can demonstrate effective use of ICT and advocate, influence and promote such abilities. Objectives of the training are to capacitate college teachers who will act as key players in integrating technologies in the classrooms and communities while students will be digital change agents/leaders through peer to peer learning and engaging in networks. The training workshop was organized by the Center for International Education and Development (CINED) of Dhaka Ahsania Mission in cooperation with Commonwealth of Learning (COL) and Access to Information (a2i).
C-DELTA
Commonwealth Digital Education Leadership Training in Action (C-DELTA): CINED, in cooperation with Commonwealth of Learning (COL) and a2i is implementing Commonwealth Digital Education Leadership Training in Action (C-DELTA) in Bangladesh. C- DELTA is a long-term programme of the Commonwealth of Learning (COL) to promote digital education environments in Commonwealth nations. Under this programme 30 collage teachers from 20 collages from different districts of Bangladesh were trained on seven e-learning modules. After this training collage teachers are completing seven e-learning modules and encouraging their students to register in the C- DELTA platform and undergo at least 3 modules especially designed for the students. The C-DELTA programme provides a framework for fostering digital learning and developing skilled citizens for lifelong learning. It will foster leaders who can demonstrate how to use information and communication technologies (ICT) effectively and who will influence others around them to use digital technology appropriately and effectively for learning (and earning) and for supporting sustainable development.
C-DELTA
Considering the effectiveness and efficiency in development communication, CINED has taken an initiative for strengthening organizational capacity for development of e-modules in DAM. To this end a twelve member resource team was formed in DAM. This resource team will be responsible for developing e-modules as Open Educational Resources (OER) for training of DAM staff in future. To develop the capacity of the DAM resource team on e-module development, a two week long workshop was organized in the Auditorium of Dhaka Ahsania Mission from 02-13 September 2018 in cooperation with Commonwealth of Learning (COL). Dr. Ishan Abeywardena, Advisor (OER), Commonwealth of Learning (COL), Ms. Jennifer Anne, Gender consultant and Prof. Mostafa Azad kamal, Bangladesh Open University was key facilitators of the workshop.
Gender Menstriming
CINED organized a sub regional workshop on "Capacity Building of Education Managers in Designing Community Based Integrated Early Childhood Care and Development" in Dhaka from 24 to 28 September 2017 under UNESCO participation programme. The programme objective was to create scope to share sub-regional experiences and good practices of ECCD programmes in four sub regional countries i.e. Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal and India and develop the capacity of the education managers of the participating countries to design and implement an integrated and holistic model of ECCD programme aiming to increase access to quality early childhood care and Development. As part of institutional development, CINED organized 3 workshops for development of a gender roadmap (2017-2025) for gender mainstreaming in DAM. Participants from different divisions, units, head office, field offices and different institutions of DAM attended in the workshops. CINED followed the guideline on Institutional "Scorecard for Gender Mainstreaming" developed by Commonwealth of Learning (COL) during the roadmap development process. As a result of this exercise a gender roadmap (2017-2025) for DAM has been developed which will be the part of DAM's strategy plan (2015-2025). This gender mainstreaming exercise was conducted with the support of Commonwealth of Learning (COL) during May to July, 2017.
CINED is implementing national and international training and workshops at the national and international levels.
CINED is organizing sub-regional workshop on capacity building of senior and mid level managers of south Asian sub-regional countries on regular basis. Participants from Bangladesh, Bhutan, India , Nepal and Pakistan attended in these training workshops.

CINED organized two divisional level workshop in cooperation with Commonwealth of Learning (COL) and UNESCO Dhaka to develop the capacity for development and utilization of local level learning and communication materials. Participants of the workshop were CLC facilitators, UISC entrepreneurs and local NGO personnel.

CINED is developing OER on skills training and piloting different delivery modes for dissemination of skills to mass people especially unreached population for livelihood development. As part of this initiative and with support from the Commonwealth Educational Media Centre for Asia (CEMCA)/ Commonwealth of Learning (COL) and in cooperation with Bangladesh NGOs Network for Radio and Communication (BNNRC), CINED organized a workshop for the community radio producers. Mid-Level Management Training Programme

To develop the capacity women employees of RMG sector in the mid-level management position CINED implemented a project in cooperation with Department of Women Affairs and GIZ. A total of 1,002 women employees received two months long training which cover five areas of RMG management i.e. Human Resource Management, 2.Social Compliance, 3.Quality Control Management, 4.Production, Productivity and Floor Management, 5.Merchandising and Marketing Management. CINED developed appropriate course curriculum and course materials for implementation of this training.
