Project Introduction:
The overall objective of the project is to establish water sanitation facilities, promotion of hygiene education and TBA support in communities (para) in Tajumuddin Upazila of Bhola District through capacity building of women groups, adolescent and training of health workers.

Overall Objective:Access for Rural community people to WaSH and primary health awareness for Improved Health condition through participation of poor women.
Specific Objectives: The Specific objectives are-
- To promote exclusive participation and leadership of rural women and linking the local government (UPs).
- To ensure open defecation free community by increased access of safe water, sanitation.
- To promote of hygiene education and safe menstrual hygiene practice in the community
- To improve Improvement of Health awareness and improved access to MCH facilities.
Outputs:
- A base line study conducted in 4 unions and 70 para/community identified in 1st year (semester)
- 70 Women WaSH Platform formed and capacitated
- Ward Sanitation Task forces activated in 4 unions and linkage established with UPs and Upazila Taskforces
- 12 volunteers, 140 WWP leaders, 140 child and adolescents, 4 Local Entrepreneurs, 35 Health volunteers/BA and 70 caretakers are trained on WaSH and primary health care (MCH).
- 35 nos Heath volunteers/TBAs will be capacitated with primary healthcare equipments (Stetho, BP machine/ Birth attending tools etc.
- Value based Hygiene campaign and primary MCH promotion conducted in 70 paras and 10 schools
- Conducted mother and sister led value based school hygiene campaign in 10 schools
- 200 flood proof latrine and 70 women bathing cubicles constructed in the hardcore poor paras by subsidy
- 70 Deep wells and flood proof tubewell aprons constructed by subsidy 100% ODF established in 70 paras
