Delegates of King Abdullah Humanitarian Foundation (KAHF), Saudia Arabia visit DAM KAAP-UUP project activities in Mirpur and Mohammadpur in Dhaka City. In order to verify the activities of the project and its future prospects, a team from the donor organization has visited project activities and education services.

From 16 August 23 to 17 August 2023, they visit UCLCs and CLCs, talk to learners, CMC members and observe the progress so far. The representatives of the KAHF, Dr. Bandar Alhoweish- KAAP Manager, Br. Abdullah Saeed-KAAP Portfolio Manager, Abdulaziz Shehab Aljanfawi-Deputy Director of Humanitarian Programs, Saqr Saad Alhumaid-Corporate Communication Director, Juma Jeeber Alenizi-Humanitarian Program Supervisor, Salman Hazzaa Aldawish- Public Relations Specialist visits the Pre-Primary, Primary, and Junior Secondary learning activities at Mohammadpur, Mirpur under the project. Meanwhile, ISDB Country Coordinator Arif Shahid briefs the delegates about the ongoing Teaching-learning activities at the learning center.
Donor representatives and local visitors praised the work of the project, seeing the decoration of the learning center, student attendance, and teaching methods of the students. Honorable visitors visit UCLC and give precious suggestions to staff and the teacher. Executive Director of DAM Md. Shajedul Qayyum Dulal, Join Director of KAAP-UUP Project Md. Monirujzaman and Project Manager Md. Modasser Hossain Masum also was present during the visit of donor representatives. During the visit, the visitor planted some saplings in the UCLC campus in a bid to face the environment disaster. They urged every learner and staffs to plant at least one tree to protect the environment. Parents, CMC Members, and community leader was present at the moment of tree plantation.

Dhaka Ahsania Mission is implementing a project for the slum dwellers and disadvantaged children in Mirpur and Mohammadpur of Dhaka District and Saidpur in Nilphamari District through “Education Services for Up-Lifting of Ultra-Poor Slam Dwellers Project”. The King Abdullah Humanitarian Foundation is providing financial support for this project.
