Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) based on over 20 years of experience with the community on water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) addresses the core reason behind deprivation of such basic needs. With a development history of almost 60 years DAM is dedicated to social welfare, has significant impact in this field in both rural and urban areas. It has adopted innovative, appropriate and affordable-technologies, and increased community ownership through creating solutions to community challenges, including gender equality, within DAM Community-Based Organizations (CBOs).
