For proving the outstanding education services for the disadvantaged children, Education Sector of Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) has declared its Best UCLC and Best Teacher Award 2023. The award is conferred on 27 May 2023 through a ceremony at DAM Head Office Auditorium in Dhanmondi. The event is chaired by DAM Education Sector’s Joint Director Md. Moniruzzaman where DAM President Kazi Rafiqul Alam presents as the chief guest, General Secretary Engineer AFM Golam Sharfuddin and Executive Director Md. Sajedul Karim Dulal are present as special guests. Md. Modasser Hossain Masum, Project Manager of DAM KAAP-UUP project, delivers the welcome speech at the event. Highlighting the theme of the event, the Best UCLC and Best Teacher Award 2023 is announced by the Joint Director of Education and TVET Sector Md. Moniruzzaman
This year the Best UCLC Award 2023 goes to Jyoti UCLC of Mirpur Field of KAAP-UUP Project. In three non-formal education components of DAM Education Sector, Asma Akhter, Pre-primary teacher of Ceramic CLC in Mirpur area, Runia Akhter, Primary teacher of Rangdhanu CLC in Mohammadpur area, Linun Nahar Junior Secondary Education Teacher of Mirpur Area are selected as the best teachers. Crests and certificates are awarded to the best selected UCLCs
and teachers. CMC presidents, teachers and officials received the award for Best UCLC and Best Teachers Award 2023 in the presence of chief guest of DAM President.
Honorable President of Dhaka Ahsaniya Mission Kazi Rafiqul Alam in his speech give a message to all. He expressed optimism that this award will play a special role in providing quality education to students.CMC president and best teachers of selected best UCLC express their feelings and expressed their gratitude towards Dhaka Ahsania Mission. They also told that they would extend their hand of support to their UCLCs in the future. Be determined to perform their duties more faithfully in the future.
In the speech of special guest of the program, Executive Director of DAM Md. Sajedul Karim Dulal gives future directions to the teachers and staff present. He stresses on improving the skills of teachers, using modern and digital technology and ensuring community participation to impart quality education with the times. The event is graced with a mesmerizing cultural performance by UCLC students.
