Project Introduction: DAM-CLC is a significant project of Dhaka Ahsania Mission. It’s a multi-donor project with an innovative multi grade teaching learning approach of NFPE. The honorable donors are Educate A Child (EAC) Initiative of The Office of Her Highness Sheikha Moza Bint Nasser, Qatar, Cordaid, The Netherlands, Community Education & Community Care (CECC) project, DAM-Marico CLC and others sources. The EAC project has started from 16th December 2012 and will be ended on 15th December 2017. The Cordaid, The Netherland (EOSC) Co-financing project started from October 2013 and The CECC project has started from January 2013 and included with DAM-CLC project as a co-financing project from January 2014 and this project also rewarded yearly basis and hopefully be continued up to December 2017.
The project has been designed to provide Non Formal Basic Primary Education to 6-14 years aged 40,000 out of school children of socio-economically back warded, disadvantaged and geographically remote areas of Bangladesh following NCTB curriculum. The targeted out of school children of the project is defined as children who have not ever been to a school and Primary school dropouts.

Overall Objective:
Provide access to quality primary education for 40,000 out of schoolchildren in Bangladesh (EAC for 20,000 and EOSC for 10,000 children)
Specific Objectives:
I. 40,000 OOSC attend DAM schools in Noakhali, Chittagong and Jamalpur
II. Trained community members effectively manage CLCs
Outputs:
(1.1) 30,000 Children Learning Centers (CLCs) are established and operated
(1.2) 30,000 teachers are selected and trained
(1.3) 93 staffs are recruited and trained
(1.4) one central office, 3 regional offices, and eight area offices are established, staffed, and fully operational
(2.1) 750 Community Action Groups (CAGs) are set up to manage successful construction and establishment of CLCs
(2.2) 750 Center Management Committees (CMCs) are established and operating
(2.3) 750 CMCs are given training and are fully responsible for monitoring attendance, enrollment, and performance of out-of-school children in CLCs

Final approval from NGOAB, Internal staff recruitment and training, Office location search, procurement, and equipment, CLC location selection, Conduct survey, Formation of CAGs and CMCs, Teacher training and orientation, Teaching students in CLC, Refresher training for teachers, Needs-based training for supervisors, Monitoring and evaluation, (TQM methodology), Engagement with community and local government, Stakeholder communications, CMCs undertake sustainability planning for CLCs through engagement with community Handing over process, Final reporting and project evaluation.
