Dhaka Ahsania Mission has celebrated the 104th birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. The day is celebrated as National Children’s Day across the country. The architect of independent Bangladesh, the undisputed leader of the Bengali nation, was born on this day in 1920 in a noble Muslim family in Tungipara, Gopalganj district.

In continuation of the observation of the day, on 10 March 2024 Dhaka Ahsania Mission with the help of KAAP-UUP Project funded by the King Abdullah Humanitarian Foundation celebrates the day with due dignity and respect. Under the initiative of KAAP-UUP Project, a discussion on Father of the Nation, drawing competition and lectures on childhood of Sheikh Mujibur Rahma were organized with the participation of KAAP-UUP Project Learners at Dhaka Ahsania Mission Head Office auditorium.

The program is chaired by Vice President of DAM Dr. Prof. Kazi Shariful Alam. General Secretary of DAM Engineer A.F.M Gholam Sharfuddin, Executive Director of DAM Md. Shajedul Qayyum Dulal and Joint Director of Education & TVET Sector Md. Moniruzzaman presents at the program.  The Executive Director of DAM said that Sheikh Mujibur Rahman is the architecture of the Bengali nation. He also told that our learners should know about the events of the day we are observing. learners should know about the importance and significance of the day. He requests the teachers to inform the learners about the significance of the days.General Secretary of DAM Engineer A.F.M Gholam Sharfuddin said that National Children’s Day carry the message for our children. It’s giving the message of the rights to the children. He told that we must have to obey the child’s rights. We will work together to ensure the rights of the children. We will take oath on this happy occasion of the Birth anniversary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman that we will not break the rights.

Vice President of DAM Dr. Prof. Kazi Shariful Alam welcome the participants of the program. He says this program is making a value for DAM. We are together working for children and we are working to uprise the dream of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

After the discussion program prize-giving ceremony were held. At the end of the scheduled discussion program, the honorable guests presented the prizes to the winners of the drawing competition and the winners of the speeches presented.
