Incentive cheques were handed over to the teachers and supervisors of the Basic Education for Hard to Reach Urban Working Children Project (BEHTRUC) of Dhaka Ahsania Mission at a formal ceremony held in the capital on 15 July, 2010.
Held on the premises of Kochi Katcher Mela on Dinonath Sen Road at Ganderia in the capital, the occasion was chaired by the Dhaka Ahsania Mission executive director (ED) M. Ehsanur Rahman while it was attended by the Bureau of Non Formal Education director general (DG) Rezaul Kader as chief guest and 82 No. ward counselor, Dhaka, as special guest.
Md Saiful Islam, PC, BEHTRUC delivered the welcome address. The chief guest formally handed over the cheques to the teachers and supervisors. Following address by the chairperson, chief guest and special guest, a teacher under the project named Sajia Akhtar also spoke on the occasion.
