Loo Niva Child Concern Group of Nepal visit DAM Education Programmes at Mirpur, Dhaka on 13 November 2017. The team visit Beguntila CLC of DAM Second Chance Education (SCE) Project & Alor Bhuban UCLC of EduEmp project. The Loo Niva Child Concern Group team explores DAM education programmes for children, youths and community development through a systematic process of empowerment and awareness. They observed the multi-grade teaching-learning approach and Non-Formal Junior Secondary teaching-learning approach. The team also informed how this approach is effective for Non-Formal Primary Education especially in urban slum. The team visit was facilitated by Prosanto David Shadukha, Project Coordinator of UCLC project, Md. Mohsin Talukder, Regional Manager of SCE project and other Area Office level staffs.
After the visit, Ms. Narendra Dangal the Executive director Loo Niva Child Concern Group has given a crest to DAM as Token of love. They also give thank for cooperate them to learn the NFPE system of DAM Bangladesh.
Mentioned that Loo Niva is a social organization in promoting child rights and youth development in Nepal. It works with the community at the grassroots level towards preventing exploitation and marginalization of underprivileged children. Loo Niva advocates for right to quality education of each child both boys and girls. It has been working with public schools with an active participation of parents and children. Foremost, it aims to build an optimal and healthy society for children and youths.
